How I handle a fixed 30 second timing

A fixed commercial length requires careful pacing. I fit the copy around picture changes, music, pauses and the final call to action while keeping the performance natural. If you provide a video reference, I follow its timing markers and match the key moments.

A 30 second commercial usually accommodates around 75 to 85 words at the commercial pace of 165 words per minute. Technical terms, numbers and web addresses take longer to deliver clearly. Use the calculator for checking how many words fit into 30 seconds before you approve the final copy.

If the script runs long, I point out the sections that restrict the read. I can try a tighter pace or adjust emphasis, while your team decides whether to shorten the wording. For lip-sync or strict picture matching, I work with timecode and stay within the agreed windows.

You can book a clean, edited voice track for your sound engineer or ask me to complete the full spot. I record the voice, work with the approved music direction, add sound effects and balance every element for the intended channel.

Social media content uses the dedicated service rate. If the project also includes radio or TV broadcast, list the channels in your brief so I can prepare the right quote.

Usage rights and commercial voiceover rates

The minimum order is 150 EUR per project and applies to the final price. My commercial rate is 1.80 EUR per word. For online usage, the indicative equivalent is 279 EUR per finished minute.

Broadcast rights change the calculation: radio x1.5 and television x2.5. The same script costs more when it runs on radio or television because those channels reach a larger audience and require a broader licence for an agreed campaign period.

A buyout grants usage rights under the terms stated in the agreement. A licence defines the channels, territory and duration. Sharing these details at the start lets me quote the project accurately and prevents uncertainty about permitted use.

Turnaround and live directed sessions

My standard turnaround is 24-48h after I receive the approved script, voice direction and usage details. During business hours, I provide a quote within two hours. I work Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00 Europe/Bucharest time (EET/EEST).

If your director wants to guide the performance, I can join a live session through Source Connect or Zoom. I record in my Brasov studio using a Rode NT1-A microphone, an Audient interface and an acoustically treated booth.
